The exhibition Two Worlds. A New Look at Ze’ev Aleksandrowicz’s Photographs is the outcome of an educational project realized through the Polish-Israeli youth exchange. Its participants—students from the 16th High School in Kraków and Ha-Rishonim High School in Herzliya—followed the footsteps of Ze’ev Aleksandrowicz, a photographer from Kraków born into a respected Jewish family, who settled in Tel Aviv in the 1930s.
While taking their own photographs, the students tried not only to document the places connected with Aleksandrowicz’s life and work, but also to imagine what kind of places and scenes he would have photographed if he had been living now.
All photographs were taken by students of the 16th High School in Kraków:
Monika Bartuś
Magda Batko
Joanna Brylska
Magdalena Firka
Wioletta Koń
Milena Maciąg
Anna Niechaj
Anna Nowak

Bartosz Szadkowski
Teachers supervising participants of the project:
